• DonateNZ – my number one priority! A nationwide website which allows you to research and help to local community organisations. Check it out!
  I came up with the idea for DonateNZ and we (well me, with my parents support!) started it as a business. As with any good start-up this meant we donated our entire life and bank balance to it to get it off the ground. In late 2008 the decision was made to make it a charitable entity to allow the platform to be delivered and more widely used throughout New Zealand by the charitable sector. • Roses Are Red – the family florist business and also the kindly donated office space of DonateNZ. I handle all the website, stock management and promotions work. Without a doubt the best florist all the country! (totally unbiased).

As well as this, I’m mad keen on re-use and bargain hunting.  I love finding ways to make a dollar go further, but draw the line at saving soap scraps or reusing teabags! Whatever I do, I always stick to my word, try anything once and give everything my best shot.
